Pricing questions
Does Zomra collect student payments for me?
Yes. Students complete their payments through Zomra, and we manage the payment collection process for you. Every order and payment status appears in your Zomra dashboard.
Does Zomra manage instructor payouts?
Yes. Zomra collects course payments and transfers your available earnings according to the applicable payout schedule. You can track orders, refunds, and payment statuses from your dashboard.
Is the payment gateway fee included in the 10%?
No. Payment gateway and processing fees are charged by the payment processor and are separate from Zomra’s 10% platform fee.
Does Zomra manage refunds?
Yes. Zomra manages student refunds and updates the corresponding order and payment status in your dashboard. Refunds remain subject to Zomra’s applicable refund policy.
Can students pay locally and internationally?
Yes. Zomra supports local payment options and international card payments. As a US-registered company, Zomra uses Stripe to securely collect international payments from students around the world.
Do you charge a commission on free sessions?
No. You can host unlimited free sessions through Zomra without paying a commission on those sessions.
What is a manual enrollment?
A manual enrollment happens when you add a student to a paid course without the student completing payment through Zomra. This can be used for complimentary seats, scholarships, offline payments, or internal enrollments. The Starter plan includes up to 20 manual enrollments per cohort. Each additional manual enrollment costs $5.
Which plan should I choose?
Choose Starter if you are an independent instructor launching your first course or running cohorts occasionally. Contact us about the Scale plan if you operate an academy, manage multiple instructors, or run courses regularly.
Do you offer special pricing for academies and training businesses?
Yes. Zomra offers tailored pricing for academies, training centres, and growing education businesses. Your plan can reflect your transaction volume, number of courses, team structure, and operational requirements.
Can my pricing change as my business grows?
Yes. As your sales volume, number of courses, or teaching team grows, you can move to a tailored business plan with a lower transaction fee and a subscription that better fits your operation.
Can companies enroll an entire team?
Yes. Zomra supports team enrollment, allowing a company to reserve and pay for multiple student seats through a single checkout.
