Welcome to Zomra ("Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zomra platform, operated by UXSalon ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). Zomra is an online marketplace where instructors create and deliver live cohort-based courses, and students enroll in these courses to learn directly from qualified professionals. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
To use the Platform's services, you must be at least 13 years old. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, you have not been previously suspended or removed from the Platform, and your registration and use of the Platform comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
If you are registering on behalf of an organization, company, or entity, you warrant that the individual accepting these Terms has the legal authority to bind the entity to these Terms, and the entity agrees to be bound accordingly.
To access most features of the Platform, you are required to register for an account. During registration, you must provide accurate and current information such as your name, email address, phone number, and other contact details. It is your responsibility to keep this information up to date.
Upon registration, you will create a password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You must not share your login credentials with any other person. If we have reason to believe that your account information has been shared with a third party, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.
If you suspect that your account security has been compromised, notify us immediately at info@zomra.io.
We reserve the right to modify or reassign usernames at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without liability to you or any third party.
Instructors: By registering as an instructor on the Platform, you agree to provide accurate information about your qualifications and course content. Courses on Zomra are delivered as live cohort-based sessions on a fixed schedule. Instructors retain full ownership of the course content they create and deliver on the Platform. Instructors may remove their courses from the Platform at any time through their dashboard, subject to honoring any active enrollments in progress (i.e., courses with students currently enrolled in an ongoing cohort must be completed before removal takes effect). UXSalon reserves the right to review and, if necessary, remove courses that do not meet our quality or content standards.
Students: By enrolling in a course, you agree to the terms set forth by the instructor for each course. Courses on Zomra are live and cohort-based — they run on a fixed schedule with a defined number of sessions. It is your responsibility to ensure that the course meets your needs before enrollment and to attend scheduled sessions.
Payments for courses are processed securely via Fawry and other authorized third-party payment processors. UXSalon does not directly store payment card information. The payment processor's responsibility is limited to collecting and processing payments and is not responsible for the courses or services offered on the Platform.
UXSalon collects student payments and holds them until the applicable refund window has closed. Funds are then transferred to instructors according to the applicable payout schedule. Instructors are required to provide accurate bank account or payment details to receive their payouts.
UXSalon is committed to providing a fair experience for both students and instructors. The following refund rules apply to all courses on the Platform:
Any student may cancel any course and receive a full refund (100%) at any time before the course starts. There is no time-based cutoff — cancellation is available right up until the first session begins.
Courses with 2 or fewer sessions are not eligible for any refund once the course has started. These are compact, single-event style commitments where no meaningful trial period is possible.
Courses with more than 2 sessions follow a session-based refund schedule:
| Course Type | Before Start | After Session 1 | After Session 2 | Session 3+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ≤2 sessions | 100% refund | No refund | No refund | N/A |
| >2 sessions | 100% refund | 100% refund | 50% refund | No refund |
Refund requests are submitted through the student's Zomra dashboard or through contacting Zomra platform team through info@zomra.io. The system evaluates the request based on whether the course has started, the total number of sessions, and the number of sessions delivered. Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. If a refund request is denied, the student receives a clear explanation of which rule applies.
Refunds are not available where the student has violated these Terms and Conditions, or where the course was acquired through promotional credit, gift vouchers, or other special offers subject to separate terms.
If a student disagrees with a refund decision, they may submit a dispute through Zomra support within 14 days. UXSalon will review the case — including course quality, instructor delivery, and any technical issues — and communicate the outcome within 10 business days. Where a dispute involves instructor non-delivery (missed sessions or content materially different from what was advertised), UXSalon may issue a goodwill refund from platform funds at its sole discretion.
The Platform operates as an intelligent learning marketplace that leverages advanced technologies — including automated content analysis, personalization engines, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics — to deliver, optimize, and continuously improve the learning experience for all users.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that UXSalon processes and analyzes all data generated through Platform usage — including course content, instructional materials, student interactions, enrollment patterns, session engagement data, feedback, and user-generated content — as an integral and inseparable part of how the Platform delivers its core services. This processing enables features such as personalized course recommendations, quality assurance monitoring, intelligent scheduling, content relevance scoring, adaptive learning pathways, instructor performance insights, and platform-wide trend analysis.
Instructors specifically acknowledge that course materials, instructional content, delivery patterns, and student engagement metrics associated with their courses are processed by the Platform's technology systems as part of standard operations. This processing is fundamental to providing instructors with performance dashboards, student engagement analytics, and content optimization suggestions, and to maintaining the overall quality and integrity of the marketplace.
This data processing is not optional and constitutes a core component of the services provided by UXSalon. Without such processing, the Platform cannot deliver the personalized, high-quality learning experience that defines its value to both instructors and students.
Instructors have access only to student data relevant to their own courses, including student progress, submissions, attendance, and participation data. Instructors are required to use this data solely for educational purposes and in accordance with our Privacy Policy (Egypt).
Instructor Content Ownership: Instructors retain full ownership of the original course content they create and deliver on the Platform. Instructors may remove their courses and associated content from the Platform at any time, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 4.
Operational License: While course content is hosted on the Platform, instructors grant UXSalon a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display the content as necessary to operate the Platform and deliver the course to enrolled students. This license also includes the right for UXSalon's technology systems to process course content as described in Section 6 for the purposes of quality assurance, recommendations, and platform improvement. This operational license terminates when the instructor removes the course from the Platform, except that any anonymized or aggregated insights derived from the content prior to removal may be retained by UXSalon as part of the Platform's general knowledge base and intellectual property.
Marketing License: By publishing a course on the Platform, instructors grant UXSalon a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use instructor names, profiles, likenesses, and excerpts of course descriptions and materials for the purpose of promoting the instructor's courses and the Platform. This marketing license terminates 90 days after the instructor removes the course or closes their account, allowing a reasonable wind-down period for active campaigns.
Student Feedback: Unless explicitly marked as private by UXSalon, all feedback provided by students may be used by UXSalon as testimonials or in marketing campaigns to promote the Platform and its offerings.
By using the Platform, you agree not to engage in the following activities:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UXSalon and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from your access to or inability to access the Platform or any content or materials provided through it. This applies regardless of the legal basis for the claim, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other theory, and regardless of whether UXSalon has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not obligated to provide any support for the Platform or its services. Should we choose to offer support, it will be provided according to the applicable published policies at the time.
Third-Party Services and External Links: UXSalon may provide tools that allow you to share or export content to third-party services. By using these tools, you consent to UXSalon transferring the relevant information to the applicable third-party service. UXSalon does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their handling of your data. The Platform may include links to external websites which are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content.
Third-Party Software: The Platform may incorporate third-party software under open-source licenses. These licenses grant users broad rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute such components. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under such licenses.
By submitting User Content (excluding instructor course content, which is governed by Section 8) through or on the Platform, you grant UXSalon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and fully paid license (with the right to sublicense) to host, store, transfer, publicly display, perform, reproduce, adapt, create derivative works from, distribute, process, analyze, and otherwise use your User Content, in whole or in part, in any current or future media formats and across any distribution channels — including through automated systems and technologies that are integral to the operation of the Platform as described in Section 6. This license persists for the duration of your use of the Platform and for a reasonable period afterward to fulfill operational and legal obligations. For clarity, anonymized or aggregated data derived from User Content may be retained indefinitely as part of the Platform's general operations.
We have no obligation to monitor, edit, or manage the User Content that you or other users post or publish, and we will not be held responsible or liable for any User Content. However, UXSalon reserves the right, at its discretion and without prior notice, to review, remove, edit, or block any User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate. You acknowledge that, while using the Platform, you may encounter User Content from various sources, and some of it may be inaccurate, offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable. You agree to waive any legal or equitable rights or claims you may have against UXSalon with regard to User Content.
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy (Egypt) and any other agreements expressly referenced within, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between you and UXSalon regarding your use of the Platform. The refund and payout provisions set forth in Section 5 are incorporated as an integral part of these Terms. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or your rights under these Terms, without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to assign these Terms at any time without notice or consent. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to be in full force and effect, with the unenforceable part given effect to the greatest extent possible.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. You and UXSalon agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt, for the resolution of any legal disputes or claims arising from your use of the Platform.
By using the Platform, you consent to receiving electronic communications from us as described in our Privacy Policy (Egypt). You agree that any notices, agreements, disclosures, or other communications we send you electronically will satisfy any legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
